Snagged a Dremel 4300 for $50 – Too Good to Be True?

So I was at a garage sale this morning, and some guy was selling a Dremel 4300 with a bunch of accessories for $50. I grabbed it without thinking, but now I'm wondering if I got ripped off or if it's actually a steal. Anyone have experience with this model? Worth it?

Dude, $50 for a 4300 is a damn good deal, even if it's used. Those retail for like $100+ new. Just check that it runs smooth and the collet isn't stripped. I've had mine for years, it's a workhorse. You did good.

I second that. I've got a 4300 and it's my go-to for detail work. The variable speed is great for wood, plastic, even light metal. If it came with the flex shaft, you're set. Just make sure the chuck tightens properly. Even if you have to buy a new chuck, still a win.

Score! I wish I could find deals like that. I paid full price for my 4000 and love it. The 4300 is even better with the LED light and quick change. For $50, you basically stole it. Go buy a lottery ticket next! Haha.
