Just saw this article about that new billionaire tax in CA. Seems like a lot of folks are worried it'll push big companies out. As a small woodworking shop owner, I'm not sure how it affects me, but if big businesses leave, that could hurt the economy. What do you all think?

Honestly, I've seen this movie before. Every time they talk about taxing the rich, the big companies threaten to leave. Some do, but most stay because of the infrastructure and talent pool. But for us regular contractors, the rising cost of living and doing business is real. I'm more worried about the permit fees and material costs going up.
