Found a random orbital sander for cheap – worth it?

Hey guys, was browsing FB marketplace and found a barely used Dewalt DWE6423 for $40. Seems like a steal but I'm a weekend warrior, not sure if it's overkill for my small projects. Anyone used this model?

40 bucks for that? That's a no-brainer. I've got the same one and it's solid. Great dust collection too. Grab it before someone else does.

I've had mine for 3 years, no issues. Just check the pad is still flat and the hook-n-loop holds well. At that price, even if you hate it you can resell for more.

I've owned every orbital sander under the sun, and the DWE6423 is a top performer. For $40 it's a steal. Just make sure to use good discs (like 3M Xtract) for best results.
