Saw this article. Honestly, I've seen so many small shops move to Texas or Arizona over the years. If they hit the rich guys hard, they'll just move too, and then who's left to pay the bills? Not the middle class, that's for sure.

Yeah, my buddy runs a fab shop in LA. He's been looking at land in Nevada. Says the taxes and regs are killing him. This poll just confirms what we already know.

But don't the rich have a responsibility to pay their fair share? I mean, they use the roads and stuff. But I get why they'd leave if it's too much. Tough call.

I'm just an apprentice, but I see a lot of older guys retiring early and moving out of state. It's not just the billionaires. Even small contractors are feeling the squeeze. This tax might be the last straw.

Exactly, Chris. It's not just the big fish. The whole pond gets poisoned. I've been in construction 40 years, and I've never seen so many 'For Sale' signs on businesses.
