Taxes in CA? Guess I'll keep my sander in Texas!

Man, that poll doesn't surprise me. I've got jobs in CA and the talk about taxes is always a headache. If they pass this billionaire tax, I bet a lot of businesses will head for the hills. I'm just a contractor, but I see the fallout every time they hike taxes. Makes it harder to bid jobs when costs are uncertain.

I hear ya. I work in HVAC and we've seen a few commercial clients already looking at moving to Nevada or Texas. The paperwork and regulations are already a pain. This tax just adds more fuel to the fire. But honestly, I doubt it'll pass. The voters might be nervous, but the politicians love their tax money too much to let it go.

Ha! Tell me about it. My cousin owns a small fab shop outside LA and he's already talking about relocating. Says the tax burden is killing him. For us garage guys, it's not a big deal, but for the big boys, it's a game changer. I just hope my tools don't end up with a California surcharge for shipping.
