Just read this article about the billionaire tax in California. They're worried businesses will flee, but honestly, I'm more worried about the price of my next sander! But seriously, what do you all think? Is this tax going to hurt the economy or is it a good way to fund stuff?

I live in CA and honestly, it's getting crazy expensive. I've already seen some small biz friends move to Texas or Nevada. This tax might push more over the edge. But you know, if they used the money for infrastructure and schools, maybe it wouldn't be so bad. But I doubt they will.

Billionaires can afford the tax, but it's not just about them. It's about the ripple effect. If a big company leaves, that's jobs lost, and then who's buying our tools? I say keep taxes low and let businesses thrive. But I'm no economist, just a guy who likes building stuff.
