Anyone else always wear a dust mask when cutting MDF?

I know it's been said a million times, but just a friendly reminder: always wear a dust mask when cutting MDF or any particle board. I was lazy yesterday and skipped it, and I'm still coughing up dust. Not worth it. What's your go-to PPE for saw work?

Totally agree, Tim. I use a respirator with P100 filters for MDF. Also, ear pro is a must, my tinnitus is bad enough from years of grinding. But for quick cuts, at least a N95. Safety first!

I'm all about precision, but that includes precision in safety. I wear a full face shield, respirator, and ear muffs. For MDF, I even hook up a shop vac to the saw. Sawdust is nasty stuff.

Hank, that's hardcore. I need to step up my game. What respirator do you use? Mine fogs up my glasses something fierce.

I use a 3M half-face with exhalation valve. No fogging issues if you adjust the nose piece right. Also, anti-fog wipes help. Stay safe bro.
