Just saw this article about scheduling concrete cutting in Georgia. Sounds like a big job. I'm thinking about doing a patio slab removal myself but not sure where to start. Anyone done this before? https://example.com/article

I've cut concrete a few times with a rented saw. Key is to mark out your lines and have a good water supply for dust control. Also, check for rebar – that'll eat blades. Georgia's got some tough clay underneath too, so make sure your saw's got enough power. What size slab?

I'd say hire a pro for cutting if it's a big area. Blades ain't cheap and you can ruin one fast if you hit something. Plus dust is nasty. But if you're set on DIY, get a diamond blade and go slow. Also, check local codes – sometimes you need permits for demo.

I've cut a bunch of concrete with my Makita 14" cut-off saw. Works great, but you need a steady hand. For a big slab like in the article, I'd plan the cuts so you can remove pieces in manageable sizes. And def use water – dust is no joke. Also, concrete cutting in Georgia heat? Hydrate!
