Hey everyone, saw this article about scheduling concrete cutting in Georgia. Thought it was interesting since I'm planning a patio project. Anyone here have experience with hiring out concrete cutting? Seems like a job for pros, not for my little circular saw lol.

Definitely a job for professionals, Steve. Concrete cutting is serious business - dust, kickback, and those blades are no joke. You need proper PPE and training. I'd never recommend a DIYer tackle it unless they have the right equipment and know-how. Hiring pros is the safe way to go.

Yeah, I've seen those walk-behind saws in action, they're beasts. But if you're just cutting a small slab for a patio, maybe you could rent a smaller saw? Still, you gotta know what you're doing. I'd stick with the pros for anything bigger than a few inches deep.

Thanks for the input, Bob and Mike. I'll probably end up hiring someone. My patio is like 20x20, and I don't want to mess up the foundation or anything. Plus, I've got enough projects on my list already!
