Cutting Concrete in Georgia? Any tips?

Just saw this article about scheduling concrete cutting in Georgia. Anyone ever done this themselves? I imagine it's a lot more involved than cutting wood. What's the consensus?

I've done a few small concrete cuts with a diamond blade on my circular saw. It's messy as hell but doable for small stuff. For big jobs, I'd hire a pro. Dust control is a nightmare.

I second that. I tried to cut a 3-inch deep trench for a conduit, ended up with a lot of chipping and a cloud of silica dust. Not fun. If you're doing a whole slab, let the pros handle it.

The right tool makes all the difference. A walk-behind saw with a good diamond blade and a water feed is the way to go. But that's a lot of gear for a one-off. Renting might be an option, but you got to know what you're doing.

Good input. Sounds like it's not a DIY job unless you're prepared for the mess and have some experience. I'll stick to wood. Thanks all!
