So I'm browsing FB Marketplace and this guy has a Dewalt DWE7491RS with the rolling stand listed for $350. Says it's barely used and comes with the original blade and a dado insert. That's like half of retail. I'm tempted but I've been burned before on 'barely used' tools that turned out to be beat to hell. What do you guys think? Should I jump on it or pass?

Make sure you test it before handing over cash. Plug it in, listen for weird noises, check the arbor for runout, and see if the fence locks square. Also check that the riving knife and blade guard are there – people lose those all the time. If it checks out, $350 is a steal. But if it's missing safety parts, haggle down or walk.

I've owned that saw. The fence is great but the stock blade is trash. Factor in $50-100 for a good blade like a Diablo or Freud. Also check the miter slots for consistency – mine had a slight taper that annoyed me. But for $350, even if you need to tweak it, it's a solid deal. I'd go for it if it looks clean.

Good points. I'll bring a square and a test piece. He said he's a hobbyist woodworker upgrading to a SawStop, so maybe it's legit. I'll update if I grab it. Thanks fellas!
