Yo! I was browsing Facebook Marketplace and found a DeWalt 60V flexvolt circular saw (DCS578) for $150! It's used but looks clean, guy says he only used it a few times. I've been wanting to go cordless for a while. Is this a steal or should I pass? Let me know!

$150 is a good price if it's in good shape. But check the blade alignment and the arbor. I've seen some of those that come out of the box with the blade slightly off, so make sure it cuts square. Also listen for any weird noises from the motor. If it all checks out, I'd say go for it. I prefer a corded saw for precision, but that's just me.

Man, that's a killer deal. I've got the same saw and it's a beast. With the flexvolt battery it'll rip through anything. Just make sure the battery holds a charge when you test it. If it's the 60V battery, that alone is worth over $100. I say grab it before someone else does!

Thanks guys! I'll take a square and listen for anything weird. If the battery is good, I'm pulling the trigger. Appreciate the tips!

Let us know how it goes! And if you get it, mark the depth scale with a sharpie – the stock one is hard to read in low light.
