Georgia Concrete Cutting? Anyone done this?

Hey folks, just read this article about scheduling concrete cutting in Georgia. Sounds like they're getting ready for some serious work down there. I've never done concrete cutting myself, but I've seen videos. Looks like a job for the pros, huh? What do you all think? Any tips for a DIYer thinking about renting a saw?
