Georgia Concrete Cutting - Anyone else see this?

Found this article about preparing for concrete cutting in Georgia. Basically says you need to plan ahead for permits, utilities, and weather. Seems like common sense but maybe there's more to it? What do you guys think? Here's the link: [fake link]

I skimmed it. I don't do much concrete cutting, but I know a guy who does. He swears by wet saws to keep dust down. In Georgia humidity, that's gotta be a nightmare. Anyone here cut concrete regularly? I stick to wood mostly.

I've restored a few old houses and had to cut concrete for plumbing. The article is spot on about checking for rebar and utilities. I always call 811 before digging. Last thing you want is to hit a gas line. Also, Georgia red clay can be a pain. Make sure your blades are sharp!

I'm a plumber and I cut concrete all the time. I only use Milwaukee blades. They last longer and cut faster. The article didn't mention blade selection much. That's key. Also, if you're in Georgia, watch out for those afternoon thunderstorms. Can ruin your day.
