Just scored a barely used DeWalt DWE7480 for $200 - good deal?

Hey guys, found this on FB Marketplace. Guy says he used it once and it's like new. I know it's usually $500+. Is it worth it? I'm just a weekend warrior

That's a decent saw, but I'd be wary of FB deals. Check for blade wobble and make sure the fence is parallel. For $200, if it's legit, you got a steal. I'd offer $180 and see if he bites.

I've got the 7480 in my shop. Great saw for the price. $200 is solid. Just make sure the rack and pinion fence isn't banged up. That's the best part of that saw. If it's true, grab it.

I'd check the arbor and make sure the blade spins true. Bring a square to test the fence alignment. But yeah, for $200 you can't go wrong. I've used one on a job site and it held up fine.
