Hey guys, just a friendly reminder to always wear your safety glasses when using the table saw. I know it seems like common sense, but yesterday I got a piece of wood kickback and it hit my cheek right below my eye. Luckily I had my glasses on, but it scared the heck out of me. That could have been my eye! Stay safe out there.

Good reminder, Steve. I always wear a full face shield when I'm using the saw. I've had too many close calls. Also, make sure your blade guard and splitter are in place. That kickback you got might have been avoided if you had a splitter installed. Stay safe!

Couldn't agree more. I never step foot in my shop without my safety glasses. I even wear them when I'm just using a screwdriver. But seriously, it's the little things that cause the worst injuries. I also recommend getting a pair of anti-fog ones if you sweat a lot like I do. What kind of glasses do you guys use?
