So I got this article about scheduling concrete cutting in Georgia. Sounds like a pain in the neck with all the permits and weather delays. Anyone here done this type of work? Any tips?

I've done a few small jobs, not on that scale. But I'd say get a good concrete saw and make sure you have water supply to control dust. Also, check for rebar before you start - hits your blade and it's done.

Yeah, and watch out for buried utilities. I've seen guys cut right through a gas line. Always call 811 before you dig, even if it's just a cut. And be prepared for delays – weather in GA is unpredictable.

I've coordinated several concrete cutting projects for restoration. Key is to have a solid plan and backup equipment. Also, don't forget the cleanup – slurry disposal is a thing. Check local regulations. And make sure your crew has proper PPE.

Thanks, fellas. Looks like it's more than just grabbing a saw and going at it. Appreciate the advice. I'll check who's hiring and maybe shadow a crew first.
