12 Cool Gadgets - Worth the Hype or Gimmicks?

Just saw this article about 12 cool gadgets for handymen. Some look interesting, but I'm always skeptical about these lists. What do you guys think? Any of these actually worth the money, or just gimmicks?

I've seen that list too. Most of it is overpriced junk if you ask me. The only thing that caught my eye was that magnetic wristband, but I can get a cheaper one at Harbor Freight. Save your money for quality tools, not shiny gadgets.

I gotta disagree a bit. Some of those laser levels and digital angle finders are actually useful for weekend projects. I bought a cheap laser level last year and it saved me so much hassle hanging shelves. But yeah, some stuff is just gimmicky. I'd wait for a sale or check reviews.

The only gadget I trust is my Makita impact driver. But seriously, those lists are just clickbait. Half the stuff are things you can get at a dollar store or already have in your toolbox. Maybe the LED screwdriver is kind of neat, but I'd rather use my headlamp. Don't waste your cash.
