Hey folks, came across this article: 12 Cool Gadgets Any Handyman Can Get Use Out Of. Stuff like a laser tape measure, magnetic wristband, quick-grip clamps... some look gimmicky, but a few might be useful. What do you guys think? Any hidden gems or total duds?

The laser tape measure is a game-changer for tight spaces. I use one all the time under sinks. But the "auto-stripper" they mention? Nah, I'll stick to my manual one - never trust a gadget with wire stripping. Also, that hex key set with the ball end? Only if you hate precision lol.

The glue pen sounds like a neat idea for small projects, but I bet the nozzle clogs fast. The ratcheting screwdriver with bit storage is solid though - I've had one for years. But a "cool" gadget? More like basic tool - where's the innovation? Back in my day we didn't need all this fancy stuff.

I'd swap that "multi-bit driver" for a simple ratcheting screwdriver any day. More bits = more to lose. The clip-on work light is decent for dim crawlspaces, but my headlamp's better. Overall list is entry-level at best. Now if they'd included the Ryobi 18V glue gun or a good oscillating tool...

Good points. I'm tempted by the laser measure after what Paul said. The magnetic wristband looks like a magnet for dust and debris, not sure. Might stick to my old-school tools for now but always open to trying new stuff if it saves time. Thanks for the input!
