Found these Wera screwdrivers at Home Depot clearance - too good to be true?

Hey guys, just left my local Home Depot and they had Wera Kraftform screwdriver sets on clearance. The 5-piece insulated set was marked down to $29.97 from $79.99. They had about 3 left in the clearance aisle. Is this a legit deal or are these probably returns/defective? I've heard good things about Wera but never used them myself.

Wera makes solid tools - German engineering. At that price, grab them if they're sealed. Insulated drivers are must-have for any sparky. Check the tips for damage before buying. I've had my set for 8 years, still perfect.

Sid's right - that's a steal. I use Wera for electrical panels on roofing jobs. The handles hold up better than most when they get wet. Just make sure the insulation isn't cracked. If they look clean, buy all three and flip two on eBay - you'll make your money back easy.

whoa that's insane! my boss would kill for that deal. i'm still using the cheap husky set from my starter kit lol. should i tell him about it? or would that be brown-nosing? also are insulated ones really that much better? they seem pricier normally.

Matt - insulated isn't just 'better', it's non-negotiable for live work. Tell your boss, he'll appreciate it. And upgrade from those Huskys when you can - good tools make the job easier. OP, post pics if you grab them.
