Dropped my screwdriver from the roof - still works! What's your 'torture test' story?

Hey guys, had a wild one yesterday. Was up on a 2-story re-roof job, had my trusty Wera Kraftform Plus in my back pocket. Bent over to grab some shingles and PLOP - right out of the pocket, tumbles down the roof, bounces off the gutter, and lands in the mud below. Thought for sure I'd be buying a new one. Went down, wiped it off, and this thing still drives screws like a champ! No bent shaft, handle's fine. Got me thinking - what's the craziest abuse your screwdrivers have survived? Or maybe not survived?

LOL Chris, that's nothing! Last month I was doing a ceiling patch and my Milwaukee demo driver slipped out of my hand while I was on the ladder. Fell 12 feet onto concrete, bounced, then rolled into a bucket of joint compound. Fished it out, cleaned it up with some mineral spirits, and it's still my go-to for drywall screws. The magnet in the tip even still works! But I did have a cheap store-brand one once that snapped in half just from prying off a outlet cover. You get what you pay for, man.

HVAC perspective here - we abuse tools differently. Mine was a Klein 11-in-1 that got knocked into a condensate drain pan full of nasty slime water. Sat there for 3 days before I found it during maintenance. Corrosion city! Cleaned it up with vinegar and a wire brush, but the bits were toast. Handle was swollen too. Klein replaced it under warranty though - their customer service is solid. Pro tip: keep silica gel packs in your tool bag to prevent that swampy handle feel.
