Blood test for Alzheimer's? Any DIY angle?

Just saw this article about C2N Diagnostics partnering to offer Alzheimer's blood tests in South Korea. Sounds like fancy lab stuff, but any of you guys think this could have any DIY or workshop relevance? I mean, maybe for monitoring our own brain health after all those years of solvent fumes? Just curious.

Whoa, that's out of left field. But it's a good question. We're always talking about safety gear, but brain health? Never thought about it. I've been using epoxy without a mask for years... maybe I should get checked.

I saw that headline too. It's not really DIY, but it's interesting from a medical standpoint. Though I gotta say, my workshop is my therapy. But seriously, if you're worried about chemical exposure, better ventilation and PPE are the first steps. Can't rely on a blood test to fix a problem if you're not preventing it.

Good point, Larry. Prevention is key. But you know, I read that these tests can detect amyloid plaques years before symptoms. So it might be a wake-up call for us old-timers who've been around sawdust and solvents. Maybe we should all chip in for a group test? Ha!
