Scored a used Festool Domino DF 500 at a garage sale for $200. Looks barely used. Is this thing actually worth the hype? I've always used dowels and pocket screws, but everyone raves about these. Should I keep it or flip it?

Dude, $200 for a Domino? That's a steal! I've had mine for years and it's a game-changer for joinery. Mortise and tenon joints in seconds. Keep it for sure – you'll wonder how you lived without it.

I've borrowed one before. The precision is insane – consistent depth and alignment every time. But be warned: the tenons are pricey. Still, at that price, even if you buy a box of tenons, you're way ahead.

I've been eyeing one for my shop but couldn't justify the MSRP. For $200? I'd keep it. Even if you don't use it every day, it'll save you time on furniture projects. Plus, resale value holds – you could probably flip it for more if you change your mind.
