PSA: Don't skip ear protection with your angle grinder!

Hey folks, just a friendly reminder to wear your ear protection when using an angle grinder. I know it's easy to skip when you're in a hurry, but I just had a close call. My hearing's been ringing all day after a quick cut. Trust me, tinnitus is no joke. Protect those ears!

Good points, Will. And on the topic of PPE - check your equipment before you start. A worn-out grinding wheel can shatter and cause serious injury. Make sure the guard is in place and the wheel is rated for your grinder's RPM. I always give my tools a quick once-over before use. Better safe than sorry.

Yeah, thanks for all the tips, guys. I'll definitely be more diligent from now on. I might even invest in some custom-molded earplugs. Do either of you have recommendations for comfortable ones that don't break the bank? I find the foam ones irritate my ears after a while.
