Hey guys, my DeWalt 20V impact wrench won't charge. Battery indicator lights don't come on when I put it on the charger. Tried different outlets and the charger works with my other batteries. Battery is only a few months old. Any suggestions before I buy a new one?

Had the same issue with my Dewalt drill last year. Try cleaning the battery contacts with a pencil eraser or rubbing alcohol. Sometimes there's gunk that blocks the connection.

Also check if the battery is stuck in thermal protection. If it got too hot, it won't charge until it cools down. Leave it off the charger for an hour in a cool place, then try again. Happened to me after a heavy use session.

Good call on the thermal thing - it was pretty hot after using it to loosen rusted bolts. Letting it cool now. Will update if it works. Thanks fellas!
