Hey everyone, I'm planning to build a big deck this spring. I've got a lot of bolts to tighten. I'm looking for a good ratcheting wrench set, maybe metric and standard. Any recommendations? I don't want to break the bank but I want something decent.

Go with DeWalt mate the 20V ratchet is a game changer for speed. But if you want manual, their MAX FIT line is solid. I've got the 8-piece set and it's taken a beating with zero issues.

For a deck, I'd say get a vintage set off eBay. The old Craftsman raised panel wrenches are indestructible and cheap. I restored a 10-piece set from the 80s and they still feel like new.

Don't forget about safety. Make sure whatever set you get, the ratcheting mechanism has a lock so it doesn't slip. Also, use anti-seize on the bolts to avoid corrosion. I'd recommend Tekton's sets for budget-friendly and reliable.
